Department of Software Engineering

At the Department of Software Engineering (DSE), we cover all activity areas under software engineering – specification, analysis, design, implementation, application and maintenance of software and information systems. We focus on web engineering – open and machine-readable formats, information extraction, creation of knowledge bases, data integration and enrichment, and natural language processing. We have specialized workplaces for studying, developing and testing the user interface and user experience. We know how to create applications that use augmented and virtual reality. We teach students how to create information strategies for businesses and project management. We can advise students on setting up their own businesses or startups.
