Department of Digital Design

At the Department of Digital Design (DDD), we focus on designing embedded systems and applying programmable circuits (FPGAs) for applications with increased demands on their safety, reliability, size, speed or power consumption. We also investigate models applicable to hardware/software co-design, their simulation and verification. If interested, students can participate in a number of research projects and practical experiments in our labs. We participate in several projects and have a long tradition of hosting international conferences. We offer a bachelor specialization in Computer Engineering, followed by a master specialization in Design and Programming of Embedded Systems.
