At the end of each semester, the Dean of the faculty, doc. RNDr. Ing. Marcel Jiřina, Ph.D., awards the best bachelor‘s and master’s theses of FIT CTU students with the Dean’s Award. He selects them based on the recommendation of the State Final Examination committee. Seven outstanding final theses were awarded in the winter 2023/2024 semester – three bachelor’s and four master’s. The students received their diplomas with a financial award from the Dean at the graduation ceremony in Bethlehem Chapel on 26 March 2024.
“I am proud of our students’ results, and I am pleased to have the opportunity again to award several prizes for the best theses, some of which have real practical application or publication potential. The faculty committee recommends a really high-quality selection, and sometimes it is difficult for me to make the final choice,” says Marcel Jiřina, Dean.
