Computer Security

As students of this specialization, you will learn about the study and development of secure communication and information systems. Every company needs someone who is able to secure its sensitive data. You will learn how to develop and administer secure hardware and software. You will get acquainted with the principles of cryptography, ways to detect attacks in computer networks and how to securely administer information systems.

What will you learn?

You will become experts in ciphers, encryption algorithms and security of hardware and software. You will be able to:

  • Master the theory of cryptography and mathematical principles of computer security
  • Design and implement secure hardware and software
  • Use and securely integrate hardware components to information systems and test their resilience against attacks

What jobs will you be able to do?

A person who is able to provide a secure ICT solution to a company will not be searching long. They will be able to choose from many offers. You will know how to ensure a secure operation of a company’s networks, servers and data centres. You can become:

  • Developer of security solutions
