Summary
Model predictive control is important tool of industry systems, but it requires large amount of data and processing power. In this work, we will create a software tool for identification of mathematical model of chromatography and for implementing model predictive control for chromatography process with help of Siemens Industrial Edge, solution of edge computing by Siemens. We will discuss basics of chromatography, mathematical models, inverse problem and ways of solving it with optimization algorithms and industrial control systems.

Summary
With the availability of the vast amount of users and Location-based social networks, the problem of POI recommendations has been widely studied and received significant research attention in the last seven years, and many approaches have been suggested. While previous works of POI recommendation mostly focused on investigating the spatial, temporal, and social influence, the use of additional content information has not been directionally studied. Such additional information can not only improve the performance of the recommendation system but also help to overcome the so-called cold start problem.
In this paper, we propose the content-aware matrix factorization method based on incorporating POI attribute and categories information. We propose two variants of the algorithm that can work with explicit and implicit feedback. The attribute and categories information of a POI is collected from existing datasets and used to measure the similarity between two POIs. These similarity values are subsequently used as a regularization term added to the objective function of matrix factorization. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the quality of recommendation, outperforms most state-of-the-art collaborative filtering algorithms and can effectively cope with the so-called cold start problem.

Summary
The aim of this work is to design a method of efficient HRTF acquisition from the profiles already existed. The thesis analyzes the possibilities of using the recommender systems to find a suitable HRTF that could replace the most commonly used approaches. Using web applications - implemented by technologies WebGL and WebAudio we have verified the effectiveness of collaborative filtering. User testing demonstrated improvement of accuracy against an unpersonalized HRTF profile of an averagely 10 degrees. The conclusion of this work is to find a fast method for relatively accurate audio virtual reality simulation.

Summary
This master thesis deals with an implementation of a system for retrieval, indexing and display of spherical panoramas. It describes methods of retrieval, verification and analysis of photographs from Internet. In the thesis we use methods of text mining and image processing to obtain attributes suitable for searching and clustering of panoramas.

Summary
This thesis deals with the analysis, design, and implementation of a web application to visualise the data acquired by the SATRAM/Timepix pixel detector onboard the ESA Proba-V satellite. The result of the thesis is the application showing the pixel matrices (frames), radiation levels, and positions of the spacecraft in the orbit. The visualisation provides various types of filtering the data.

Summary
This thesis introduces a new method for indexing graph patterns within a graph database. The new method is analyzed, designed and implemented for Neo4j graph database engine. It enables to create, use and update indexes that are used to speed-up the process of matching graph patterns. The thesis provides a comparison between queries with and without using indexes. It also provides a comparison of the method with an alternate method that is presented in a concurrent master's thesis.
